I should probably make my first goal “write a goals post on the first of the month”. What can I say? August came in on fire and the first week slipped away from me. Regardless, it’s time for me to check in on last month’s goals and make some monthly goals for August.
Let’s see how July went:
-Read Two Books: Oops. I did continually read, but didn’t finish any books.
-Blog: I did blog, every week. But some weeks I only posted once! I feel like once the girls are back in school and we’re all in a routine this will become easier for me.
-Stick to a Budget: Done! And I showed you exactly how I did.
-Craft: Not at all. I have so many great things pinned and a lot of ideas running through my mind. I just need to execute it!
-Work Out: I mentioned last month that I joined a gym. I actually still am going at least three times a week! I’ve been running, yoga, and tomorrow I am trying Zumba. (And I’m terrified!)
Read Two Books: No surprise here, this is ongoing.
Do Five Things from Pinterest: Anything. Cook, Bake, Craft, basically anything I have pinned.
Clean My Closet: It is SO bad. It’s become my “throw everything in there so the rest of the house looks clean” spot. So so so bad.
Find a Doctor: We’ve been here a year already and I don’t have a doctor for myself. The girls and the dog are all set up of course, but as it usually is for moms, I am last. This needs to be fixed!
Enjoy Chicago: We are doing a “tour of Chicago” before school starts and we can’t wait to see our family, friends that are family, eat all the good food and just be in our old stompin’ grounds for awhile.
