Today marks the first day of March, and I am quite ready for a reboot. The beginning of the month is a “do-over” day for me, and I need it this month! February was awesome, with trips to Chicago and Austin marked with a lot of time spent with special friends. But I am ready to get back in to the swing of things, beginning with some lofty goals!
Before I dive in to that, let’s look back on February and see how I did:
Finish 2 Books. Done! I read “Why Not Me?” and “Where’d You Go, Bernadette”. Both good, but I loved Mindy’s book.
Become Texan. I half accomplished this. I got my car registered but haven’t gotten a license yet. In this awesome state, they mail you your new license and I was flying last month and this weekend, so I decided to wait until after that.
Go Through My Closet. Done! I sent a huge bag to ThredUp and am waiting to see my payout. It all goes through PayPal (by choice) so I’m planning on spending the cash to sponsor some blogs. Any loves?
Give Charlie More Walks. Half done. His walks definitely increased last month, but I did not take him twice a week.
Finish Two Books. This should just be on repeat, because it’s an ongoing goal.
Finish Becoming Texan. Goodbye Illinois license! (insert sad face here)
No Spend March. Because of my two trips last month, I just can’t spend any money on myself. Some exclusions include subscription boxes that are already paid for for the year.
Finish a Cleaning Schedule. For being a stay at home mom now, it’s actually quite difficult to get everything done in a timely manner. I’m hoping once I perfect this it will give me a guide day to day and I won’t be rushing to get everything done in one day.
Plan E’s Birthday Party. More on this later, but it’s going to be a difficult time for her I think. I want it to be special!
Complete Any Item on the 101 in 1001 List. Time is running out and I still have quite a few items to do!
Today, I am also linking up with Anne for the Awesome List. March is going to be a great month, and every now and then I find it helpful to stop and list things that make me happy.
-We are seeing friends from Chicago, my parents and sister are visiting, and some of the husband’s friends are coming as well – all this month!
-Spring has sprung in Texas and we are enjoying weather in the upper 70’s, full of sunshine.
-Easter Egg Hunts! There is one that my neighborhood does and we are excited to check it out!
-Finalizing our trip to Napa – seriously can’t wait for that. (Send all of your recommendations my way!)
