Full disclosure – makeup is not my forte. I love trying new products but seldom know where to start. I often read Lindsay’s blog for makeup tips and tricks and for new products. Along the way, I have found some products that are must haves – and easy to use. My makeup bag is never without these!
Pacifica Alight BB Cream. This is lightweight but has good coverage. It doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy and stays put most of the day.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer. I have tried numerous primers, and this one actually works and works all day. I don’t always use eyeshadow over it, but it lightens my lids and makes my eyes look more awake (a huge task!)
NYC Liquid Liner. In black! Liquid liner was a trick Lindsay gave me for my sensitive eyes and I’ll never look back! It took some practice to make it look right, but I’m in love now.
Neutrogena Healthy Lengths Mascara. In black. This is great for everyday use!
Cover Girl Plumpify Mascara. For those days when I want a little more for my eyes. The brush is huge and covers every lash beautifully!
Josie Maran Concealer. Shown in Fair. Fun fact – concealer was the first “makeup” I was allowed to use because I have always had dark circles under my eyes. So I’ve tried numerous concealers, and I’ve finally found my forever friend. It’s a little on the pricier side but oh so worth it.
Josie Maran Cheek Gelee. Shown in Pink Escape. This stuff is awesome and keeps its color all day! I’ve even used it on my lips and it’s great there too.
Cover Girl Oh Sugar!. When I want to have a little more color than my normal Baby Lips, this product is fantastic. It goes on smooth and gives a pop of color without drying out my lips.
Pacifica Cleansing Wipes. At the end of the day, before my cleansing routine, I wipe it all off with these. All natural and they smell like vacation – win win!
